On March 11th at Main Place Tower in Buffalo, City of Batavia Local 896 participated in the American Lung Association Fight for Air Climb. Local 896 raised over $2,100 for the ALA and had 5 members climb. Local 896 Firefighter Christina Marinaccio won "Fastest Female Firefighter" with a time of 7 minutes and 27 seconds climbing 24 stories in full PPE and SCBA. Great job to the members of Local 898 and congratulations to Christina for a great effort.
