Governor Cuomo Signs Military Paid Leave Bill

Nov 20, 2017 | nyspffa_news

Attention NYSPFFA Members: Governor Cuomo has signed S.2911-A (Croci)/A.3198-A (Paulin) which provide New York State public officers or state employees that have military combat experience an additional eight days of paid leave per year for healthcare related services. Due to the extreme physical and emotional stress related to combat duty, this additional leave is necessary to provide these military combat service men and women the opportunity for additional healthcare needs without infringing on their state employment status.

We thank Senator Croci and Assemblywoman Paulin for sponsoring this important bill as well as Governor Cuomo for signing it into law.
