As emergency responders, you know all too well about the senseless tragedies that can occur during the holiday season because of a tipped candle, dry Christmas tree or space heater mishap.
To help you promote a safe holiday season in your community, the IAFF is launching a holiday safety awareness campaign that includes infographics and safety tips on how to make this holiday season safe and joyous.
In addition, the IAFF Holiday Safety Community Outreach Campaign toolkit (login required) includes a sample press release and suggested social media posts, as well as infographics, to share with your local media and in your efforts to promote public safety. The toolkit also features a public service announcement (PSA) that can be customized with your local name and logo for use on social media networks and local television.
