Members from New York and New Jersey, the 1st District of the IAFF, gathered in Syracuse NY for its IAFF 1st District PEP / NYSPFFA Health and Safety Conference. Presentations were given by General President of the IAFF Ed Kelly, General Secretary Treasurer Frank Lima, IAFF 1st DVP Jim Slevin as well as many of the IAFF department heads. After open session members breakout into smaller groups and drill down on various topics. Later in the week the conference transitions into the NYSPFFA Health and Safety conference with various presentations on health and safety matters.
