NYSPFFA members from the 2nd district gathered today in Syracuse for the annual 2nd district health and safety seminar. Members heard presentations by Jim Duffy, retired BC from the Wallingford, CT Fire Department on "Just a Routine House Fire?", Myrrhanda Jones, Outreach Director from Advanced Recovery Systems on "IAFF Center of Excellence" and Mike Scotto retired Lieutenant from FDNY on "Basement Fires". We want to thank the presenters for sharing their knowledge and expertise and the members for taking to time to come today and educate themselves to be able to better protect themselves and the other members of their fire departments.
