It is with a heavy heart that the City of Olean Fire Department announces that Firefighter Tracy Veno has passed away this morning at the age of 62.\u00a0 At this time the family requests privacy as they deal with this untimely tragedy.<\/p>\n
Firefighter Veno was a family man first and foremost.\u00a0 A loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Uncle.\u00a0 The City of Olean Fire Department and City of Olean Municipal Building will miss \u201cPeachey\u201d with his great sense of humor and smile on his face.\u00a0 The City of Olean Fire and Code Enforcement Departments will not be able to fill the void that his 39 years of experience brought to our Department.<\/p>\n
The City of Olean Fire Department will respect the Veno Family\u2019s wishes as we move through the next few days.\u00a0 We will certainly do our best to update our community as we receive information.\u00a0 Firefighter Tracy Veno, Badge #33, end of tour 12\/10\/2021.<\/p>\n
Final arrangements are Monday December 13, 2021 14:00-16:00 and 19:00-21:00 for viewing at Casey, Halwig, and Hartle Funeral home at 3128 Route 417, Olean, NY 14760. Funeral will be Tuesday December 14, 2021 at 10:00 located at The Basilica of St.Mary\u2019s of the Angel\u2019s, 202 S.
