On Sunday, July 18, Niagara Falls Fire Department Captain Brian McCormick passed away unexpectedly while on vacation with his family in Florida. Brother McCormick was hired on February 21, 2006 and promoted to the rank of Captain on April 17, 2017. He was an active member of the Fire Officers Union, IAFF L-3359, and involved in several charities, including the Ride for Roswell and their annual Toy Fund.
