Funeral arrangements for Firefighter John Joseph, Secretary Local 1071 Rochester

Brothers and Sisters,

It is with deepest regret and sorrow that we report the line-of-duty death of Lieutenant John Joseph, IAFF1st District Local 1071 – Rochester, NY. Brother Joseph, 37, passed away on July 6, 2026, after succumbing to occupational cancer.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14^th, from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. & 5 p.m. until 8p.m. at Bartolomeo and Perotto Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane, Rochester, NY14626.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 15^th at 11 a.m. at Blue Cross Arena, 1 War Memorial Square, Rochester, NY 14614.
